MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Women's Tennis team dropped 5-2 to Erskine in a Conference Carolinas match on Friday afternoon.

ON THE COURTS
In Doubles:
Erskine grabbed an early lead over Chowan after sweeping all three doubles matches.
In Singles:
Cynthia Carrier secured the No.1 singles victory 7-5, 6-4 for the Hawks, before teammate
Arina Karbolina fought for the No.2 singles win 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) for the Blue and White.Â
At the No.3 singles match,
Julieta Lecce was unable to fend off the Flying Fleet 6-3, 6-3, before teammate,
Angelique Gouin fell short 6-3, 6-3 at the fourth singles position.
Erskine claimed the No.5 singles 6-0, 6-0 over
Claire Revelle, before they grabbed the No.6 singles match by default from the Hawks
