WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 15-3 loss against Barton in Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Misten White led the team with two goals.  Jasmine Latney recorded a goal in the loss.  Leslie Escobar tallied an assist.
Tahvae Burton and Leslie Escobar picked up three ground balls each.  Burton finished with three caused turnovers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Barton would take a 1-0 lead early before Misten White recorded the first shot for the Hawks.  Tashana Barnett had her attempt saved following a Bulldog goal.
Leslie Escobar recorded a shot on frame in the period.  The Hawks held tough in the opening 20 minutes as Barton led 4-0.
The Bulldogs would score six times in the final ten minutes of the half to lead 10-0 at the break.
Second Half:
Barton pushed their lead to 12-0 before Leslie Escobar found Jasmine Latney for the first tally for the Hawks.
Misten White scored an unassisted man-up goal to cut the deficit to 12-2.  White found the back of the net again to trim the lead to 12-3.
The Bulldogs finished off the half with three goals to take the 15-3 victory.
