CENTRAL, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 15-4 setback on the road against Southern Wesleyan in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

Misten White and Leslie Escobar recorded two goals each in the loss. Danielle Henry recorded an assist.
Mallory Dunker took the loss in goal stopping 18 shots.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Southern Wesleyan would take a 2-0 lead before Danielle Henry found Misten White for the first Hawks goal of the contest.
The Warriors led 6-1 at the half.
Second Half:
SWU pushed their advantage to 11-1 in the second half. Leslie Escobar and Misten White found the back of the net on unassisted tallies to cut the deficit to 11-3.
Leslie Escobar scored the final goal for the Hawks to cut the deficit to 14-4.
