MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Men's Tennis team secured the 4-3 victory over Belmont Abbey on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks advance to a 1-3 overall record and 1-1 in the league.

In Doubles:
The Hawks grabbed an early 1-0 lead after securing a pair of doubles.
Mariano Yeh and
Edmond Aynedjian beat their opponent 7-5 at the No.1 doubles match.
Doubles duo,
Adi Kaliakperov and
Louis Proulx kept the momentum for the Blue and White as they secured the 6-4 victory at the No.2 doubles.
The Crusaders won the third doubles by a default from the Hawks.
In Singles:
Heading into singles play.
Mariano Yeh fell short at the No. 1 singles position 5-7, 3-6.
Edmond Aynedjian recovered for the Hawks with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at the No.2 match, before senior,
Adi Kaliakperov beat his opponent 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 at the third singles match.
The Crusaders def.
Louis Proulx 6-0, 7-5 at the No. 4 singles before claiming the sixth singles position by default from the Hawks.
With the score tied 3-3
Rafael D'Atri clinched the match win for Chowan after beating his opponent 6-2, 6-4 at the fifth singles match.
