FLORENCE, S.C.-The Chowan Men's Tennis team fell short in a non-conference match against USC Aiken on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks slid to a 1-4 on the year while the Pacers advance to a 8-0 overall record.

In Doubles:
USC Aiken took an early 1-0 lead in doubles play over Chowan.
Mariano Yeh and
Edmond Aynedjian fell at the No.1 doubles match 6-2, before
Adi Kaliakperov and
Louis Proulx fell short 6-4 at the second doubles position.
The Pacers won the No.3 doubles match by a default from the Hawks.
In Singles:
Mariano Yeh dropped the No.1 singles 6-1, 6-3 before
Edmond Aynedjian was beat 6-0, 6-3 in the second singles match.
Senior,
Adi Kaliakperov recovered for the Blue and White with a 1-6, 7-5, 10-8 defeat over his opponent in the third singles position.
Louis Proulx kept the momentum for the Hawks after he grabbed the 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 victory at the No.4 singles.
USC Aiken took the No.5 singles 6-2, 6-1 win over
Rafael D'Atri for the match win.
