HILTON HEAD, S.C.-The Chowan Men's Tennis team secured a 5-2 victory over Fairmont State in their second match of the Spring TennisFest on Wednesday afternoon. The Hawks advanced to a 2-6 overall record on the season.

In Doubles:
At the No.1 doubles,
Mariano Yeh and
Edmond Aynedjian were outplayed by the Falcons 6-3, before doubles duo,
Adi Kaliakperov and
Louis Proulx def. their opponents 7-6(3) at the No.2 doubles match.
Fairmont State led the Hawks 1-0 into singles play after taking the third doubles match by a forfeit from Chowan.
In Singles:
With a forfeit from the Hawks, Fairmont state picked up the sixth singles match.
At the No.5 singles position,
Rafael D'Atri beat his opponent 6-0, 6-4, before Edmond Aynedjain secured the 6-1, 6-2 victory at the second singles match.
Keeping the momentum for the Blue and White,
Adi Kaliakperov grabbed the 6-2, 6-2 win at the No.3 singles match.
With the score reading 3-2 in favor of Chowan,
Mariano Yeh clinched the match win after def. the Falcons 3-6, 6-3, 10-7, at the No.1 singles.
Senior,
Louis Proulx followed Yeh with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-5 win in the fourth singles position, to seal the match win for Chowan.
