MOUNT OLIVE, N.C.-The Chowan Women's Tennis team suffered a 5-0 loss to Mount Olive on Tuesday evening in conference play. The Hawks dropped to a 0-2 overall record and 0-1 in the league.

ON THE COURTS
In Doubles:
Chowan started the match off slow in the doubles portion with a 6-1 loss with
Cynthia Carrier and
Arina Karbolina at the No.1 doubles.
Julieta Lecce and
Angelique Gouin were unable to beat the Trojans at the No.2 doubles 6-3.
Mount Olive claimed the No.3 doubles victory by default from Chowan.
In Singles:
Heading into singles play.
Cynthia Carrier dropped the first singles match 6-4, 6-3 for the Hawks.
Arina Karbolina loss a tough battle to her opponent at the No. 2 singles position 7-5, 6-0, before
Julieta Lecce slipped 6-3, in her first set, then unable to finish the second set (2-0) because of inclement weather.
Senior,
Angelique Gouin was unable to beat the No.4 singles opponent 6-1, 6-2 for the Blue and White, before
Claire Revelle's match went unfinished (3-1) because of inclement weather.
