INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

Harrison Ardron led the team with two goals and one assist.  Nathan Clifford, Joury den Boogert and Trevin Myers posted a goal each.

Trevin Myers, Joury den Boogert, and Mitchell Levi Lewis added an assist in the win.

Ross Miller picked up the win in goal to tie former Chowan keeper, Elliot Chadderton, for most wins in a single season with 11.  JJ Wojciki posted one save in his 24:50 in relief.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half:

Fans were still settling in as Trevin Myers found the back of the net off a rebound by Joury den Boogert in the second minute.

The Hawks continued to apply the pressure as Harrison Ardron benefitted from the lack of communication on the defensive side of the Bobcats on a free kick.  Ardron's attempt from 30 yards out found the left side netting as the goal keeper watched the ball cross the line without a save attempt.

Chowan pushed their advantage to 3-0 just 16:25 into the match as Joury den Boogert won a header and played the attempt to Harrison Ardron.  Ardron would feed the ball back to den Boogert for the easy goal.

Ross Miller would keep the clean sheet in the first half stopping both attempts he faced.

Second Half:

The Hawks pushed men forward early in the half as Toby Sims' header would be saved by the Bobcats' keeper.

Chowan moved their advantage to 4-0 in the 53' as Mitchell Levi Lewis and Trevin Myers teamed up for an assist as the duo played up the left wing.  The attempt would be slid across the face of goal and found Harrison Ardron for the tap in goal.

Nathan Clifford put the Hawks up 5-0 in the 80' as Mitchell Levi Lewis played a through ball up to Clifford.  Clifford would breakaway past the back line and avoid a defender and the goal keeper for the empty net goal.

London Williams nearly made it 6-0 in the 89' as his attempt would be corralled from short distance by the keeper.
