HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half:

Ross Miller had to make a save in the 10' to keep the match in favor of the Hawks.

As field conditions worsened, play got a little sloppy towards the end of the half as the official handed out four yellow cards against Chowan in the final 13 minutes of action.

Chowan took a 1-0 lead into the locker room and a man-down.

Second Half:

Limestone struck quickly in the second half scoring the equalizer just 1:53 into the half.

The Hawks recorded their first shot of the half in the 75' on a header by Harri Lovett that was saved.

During the run of play, Limestone was issued four yellow cards in the second half.

Trevin Myers looked for the game-winner in the 84' as his headed attempt would be saved.  Limestone also searched for the winner in regulation with an attempt in the 87' but Ross Miller denied the attempt.

Overtime:

Harrison Ardron had two attempts early in the overtime period but were blocked from the top of the box.

Limestone received a fortunate bounce in the 98' as a ricocheted attempt from close range found the face of a Limestone player and trickled into the back of the net for the golden goal.
