HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan finished the regular season with a 4-7-3 overall record and 4-4-3 in league play to grab the No. 7 seed in the tournament. The Hawks have fared well this season on the road with a 2-1-3 overall record.
Carolina Lucci leads the Hawks with six goals and two assists this season. Lillian DeLucca has scored three times. Stephanie Quintanilla has found the back of the net twice.
Sierra Gonzalez, Shannon Park, Emily Trueman, Karissa Grooms and Sabrina Henderson have scored one goal each this season. Gonzalez has two assists as well.
Lynzie Hulle has 47 saves on the season and two shutouts. Hulle is allowing 1.36 goals per game this year.
TOPPLING THE CRUSADERS
Belmont Abbey finished the regular season with a 10-4-3 overall record. The Crusaders grabbed the No. 2 seed.
The Crusaders get most of their scoring from four players: Goose Andrews and Morgan Patton with nine goals each, and Tatiana Daugherty and Allyson Elliott with seven goals each. Elliott also leads the team with eight assists.
Lauryn Harding keeps opponents to 1.08 goals allowed per contest.
PAST MEETINGS
Belmont Abbey holds the series record 6-1. The past two meetings have been close as Belmont Abbey took the meeting this season 2-1 and the Hawks took the last meeting in Belmont 2-1 in overtime.
