BRISTOL, TENN. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team used a late goal by Conference Carolinas leading goal scorer, Harrison Ardron, to earn a 2-1 victory over King on the road on Saturday.

Harrison Ardron netted his 11th goal of the season in the second half.
Toby Sims added his fifth goal of the season with a penalty kick. Jake Jensen added an assist on the Ardron goal.
Chowan led 15-9 in the shot department and 5-4 on target shots.
Ross Miller moved to 7-4 on the season with the win in goal and stopped three shots.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Chowan would take a 1-0 lead in the 21' as Toby Sims converted the penalty kick for the Hawks.
Joury den Boogert and Mitchell Levi Lewis looked to add to the lead but their shots were saved.
The Hawks would take the 1-0 lead into the locker room.
Second Half:
King came out firing quickly in the second half as Ross Miller made a save just 15 seconds into the half.
Harri Lovett recorded a shot on goal but was saved. Ross Miller made another save to keep the Hawks on top.
In the 67', King would find the equalizer. The Hawks would counter with a flurry of shots by Jake Jensen and Joury den Boogert but were blocked.
Harrison Ardron would find the game-winner in the 71' as Jake Jensen played the ball across to Ardron for the score.
Ross Miller kept the Tornado off the scoreboard for the remainder of the match with a save in the 78'.
