Women's Soccer
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan improved to 2-6-2 on the season and 2-3-2 in league play picking up two wins against Converse and Lees-McRae last week.
Carolina Lucci leads the Hawks with four goals and two assists on the season. Lillian DeLucca netted her first two goals of her career in the win against Lees-McRae. Sierra Gonzalez has scored a goal and tallied two assists. Emily Trueman, Stephanie Quintanilla, Sabrina Henderson and Shannon Park of tallied a goal this season.
Lynzie Hulle picked up her first two collegiate wins in shutout fashion. Hulle has 36 saves on the year and lowered her goals allowed average to 1.66.
SLOWING THE TORNADO
King is 4-6-0 on the season and 1-4-0 in league action. The Tornado have lost their last two matches and four of their last five. King is coming off a loss to North Greenville on Wednesday.
Meghan O'Ferral leads the team with three goals. McKenzie Clarke and Erin Peters have found the back of the net twice.
Men's Soccer
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan, ranked ninth in the region, dropped a tough battle in the mud at home against #20 Francis Marion on Wednesday to fall to 6-4-0 overall. The Hawks are 4-1-0 in league play this season.
Harrison Ardron continues to lead the Conference Carolinas with 10 goals. Toby Sims has scored four goals, while Sam Hall has scored three times.
Trevin Myers took over the top spot with six assists on the team. Mitchell Levi Lewis and Joury den Boogert have five assists each.
Ross Miller is 6-3-0 on the season with three shutouts and a 1.32 goals allowed average.
ATTACKING THE TORNADO
King has battled tough this season but haven't been on the right side of the scoreboard with a 1-7-1 overall record. The Tornado is 0-3-0 in league action this season.
Ben Delisle has seven goals on the season to pace the Tornado attack. Callum Davidson and Carlos Saavedra has scored twice.
