TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team was unable to keep pace with North Greenville in a Conference Carolinas match on the road Saturday afternoon.

Tashana Barnett and Jasmine Latney tallied the lone goals for the Hawks.
Heather Orell picked up five groundballs and added an assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Tashana Barnett put the Hawks on the board first with an unassisted goal with 26:11 left in the half.
NGU answered with a goal a at the 23:34 mark. The Crusaders would add three more goals to lead 4-1.
Heather Orell would find Jasmine Latney for a goal to cut the deficit in half, 4-2, with 8:55 remaining in the half.
In the final four minutes of action in the opening half, the Crusaders extended their lead to 8-2 with four goals.
The Hawks posted seven shots on frame in the second half but was denied by NGU.
The Crusaders tacked on six goals in the second half to take the 14-2 victory.
