HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan picked up their win number 18 on the season after defeating Johnson C. Smith on Monday in a CIAA cross-divisional contest.
The Hawks slid to eighth in the recent D2SIDA Atlantic Regional poll and was ranked ninth in the opening NCAA Atlantic Regional poll.
The Blue and White is led by seniors Dhyamond Crenshaw and Chantel Roberts. Roberts has been the hot hand for the Hawks averaging a double-double, 20.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in the month of February. Roberts is also averaging a double-double in CIAA play. Crenshaw is recording 16.6 points per contest.
Mariah Coker chips in with 12.0 points and 5.5 assists per contest. Danielle Weldon adds to the mix with 10.9 points and 7.1 rebounds a game.
BULLDOG BITES
Bowie State is 14-8 on the season and 7-6 in CIAA play. The Bulldogs are 3-4 in CIAA Northern Division action. BSU is on a two game slide in league action.
The Bulldogs have three players in double-figures in scoring led by Kyah Proctor at 13.9 points a game. Kiara Colston and Sade Chatman post 10.5 and 10.0 points respectively.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan has had a strong week picking up two wins including a CIAA win against Johnson C. Smith to start the week. The Hawks improved to 10-13 on the season and 4-9 in CIAA play.
The Hawks have four players in double-figures this season. Tim Hewett leads the Hawks with 16.3 points per night. Demetrius Sanders has tallied back-to-back 25+ point outings to up his average to 13.7 points a game. Robert Grubbs adds 13.2 along with Gus Rowland at 12.0 a night.
Dino Muminovic has wreaked havoc in the paint all season as the transfer has produced 65 blocks so far this season. Muminovic is four shy from tying the DII program record for a career.
BULLDOG BITES
Bowie State comes into the contest with a 12-12 overall record and is 7-6 in CIAA action. The Bulldogs have struggled away from home this season producing a 6-7 record.
Omari George and Ahmaad Wilson lead the Bulldogs in scoring notching 14.4 and 12.8 points per game. Saiquan Jamison is hauling in 9.4 rebounds a night.
