HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
On the first shot for either side in the contest the Hawks prevailed.  Trevin Myers slotted a through ball from outside the box and found a streaking Denis Roule, who beat the keeper to the far post for the 1-0 lead in the fourth minute.
After fighting off three straight corner kicks by the Bobcats, Chowan would strike again.  LMC tried to play up the right flank but Toby Sims intercepted the pass and sent the ball up the pitch.  Harry Ardron got behind the ball and found the back of the net for the 2-0 advantage in the 20'.
JJ Wojciki kept the Bobcats off the scoreboard with two saves in the half.
Second Half:
The Hawks continued to push forward to find an insurance goal in the second half.
JJ Wojciki posted two saves early in the half as the Chowan defense kept the Bobcats quiet with only four shots in the half.
