TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team scored twice in the final ten minutes of regulation to defeat North Greenville in Conference Carolinas action, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Lee Wattam and Denis Roule scored a goal each for the Hawks. Wattam registered the game winner.
Mitchell Levi Lewis posted two assists in the win. Ioannis Kiotsekoglou notched an assist as well.
Chowan outshot NGU 22-5 and held the Crusaders to one shot on frame.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Chowan came out aggressive in the match with a corner kick just 78 seconds into the contest.
The Hawks would pepper the cage but unable to find the back of the net as both teams went into the half scoreless.
Second Half:
Chowan continued to pepper the cage early in the half but were unable to find a goal.
NGU had a man sent off with a red card in the 64'. The Crusaders played the rest of the match a man down.
Lee Wattam broke past the back line of the defense off a pass from Mitchell Levi Lewis in the 81' to break the scoreless draw for the Hawks.
Denis Roule put the Hawks up 2-0 as Mitchell Levi Lewis played the ball to the end line and found Ioannis Kiotsekoglou. Kiotsekoglou slotted a pass to Roule finishing the attempt in the back post.
