TIGERVILLE, S.C. _ The Chowan Women's Soccer team dropped a 1-0 loss to North Greenville in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Both teams posted 10 shots in the contest and three on target. North Greenville held the advantage with 10 corners compared to Chowan's one.
Sabrina Henderson, Sydney Henderson, and Carolina Lucci registered one shot on target each.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Stephanie Quintanilla posted the first shot for the Hawks in the ninth minute but was blocked.
Carolina Lucci recorded a shot in the 32' but was denied by the Crusader keeper.
NGU had a shot bounce off the crossbar in the 36' but was cleared away.
Second Half:
Chowan battled in the second half as NGU registered six corner kicks in the first 12 minutes of the half but the defense held strong to keep the match scoreless.
The Crusaders would find the game winning goal in the 79' and held the Hawks off the scoreboard to take the 1-0 victory.
