HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan is coming off one of their biggest wins of the season after downing regionally ranked Belmont Abbey on the road in double overtime, 2-1, on Saturday.
The Hawks improved to 8-6-1 on the season and finished with a 7-3-1 Conference Carolinas record.
Sabrina Henderson tallied her 10th goal of the season to lead the Hawks offensively. Carolina Lucci posted her ninth goal of the season in the win against the Crusaders. Lucci also has seven assists on the year.
Olivia Borer is allowing 1.10 goals per game in cage this season.
CAGING THE LIONS, AGAIN
Chowan will have to stop the strong offensive attack of the Lions as league-leading Hannah Logue paces the team with 14 goals. Lindsay Lee chipped in with 10 goals and seven assists.
Hannah Welch is allowing 1.68 goals per contest and allowed one goal in the meeting on October 20.
CONFERENCE CAROLINAS WOMEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT
Limestone picked up the regular season crown and top seed, the Saints will host Mount Olive. North Greenville benefitted from the Chowan win over Belmont Abbey for the No. 2 seed and will host Barton.
Belmont Abbey slipped to the third seed to host No. 6 Erskine. Chowan hosts Emmanuel as the No. 4 vs No. 5 match-up.
The winner of each contest will appear in the Conference Carolinas semifinals at the highest remaining seed on Friday, November 2 with the Championship match on Sunday, November 4.
