FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team runs their unbeaten streak to six matches with a 3-0 shutout against Emmanuel in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

Chowan posted their fifth shutout during the streak with the win.
Trevin Myers scored twice in the victory. Harry Garstang tallied a goal. Denis Roule, Harry Ardron, Mitchell Levi Lewis, and Jamie McNicholas registered an assist.
Elliot Chadderton tallied two saves in the shutout.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Emmanuel would start the contest with two shots missing left and right of the goal.
Chowan found the back of the net as Denis Roule played a through ball up to Trevin Myers finishing the attempt in the bottom right corner for the 1-0 advantage in the 10'.
The Hawks continued to push their attack forward as Mitchell Levi Lewis played a short corner into the box and connected with Harry Ardron. Ardron would flick the corner on to Trevin Myers for the headed goal for the 2-0 in the 15'.
Second Half:
The Hawks continued their strong offensive attack in the second half. Emmanuel tallied a shot on goal in the 70'. Chowan used the counter-attack to hang another goal on the board as Jamie McNicholas played the run to Harry Garstang. Garstang ripped a shot through the defense and found the back of the net.
Chowan's defense held strong as Emmanuel could not muster a dangerous attempt.
