HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan will look to end their two game skid against the visiting Blue Bears. The Hawks are 11-3 on the season and 3-1 in the CIAA after their loss to Winston-Salem State in overtime on Saturday.
The Hawks dropped to tied for ninth in the recent D2SIDA poll released on Monday. Chowan was #7 in the poll leading up to the recent loss.
The Hawks are led by seniors Dhyamond Crenshaw and Chantel Roberts. Crenshaw leads the team with 18.0 points per game. Roberts is close behind with 16.1 ppg and 8.8 rebounds per contest. Mariah Coker chips in with 12.1 points and 5.3 assists per contest. Danielle Weldon adds to the mix with 11.6 points and 8.2 rebounds a game.
Dhyamond Crenshaw is 36 points away from the 1,000 point plateau. She can become the fourth player in Chowan's DII history to reach the mark joining former players: Talaya Lynch, Ransheda Jennings and Alisha Mobley.
BLUE BEARS BIO
Livingstone is 5-8 on the season and winless in the CIAA at 0-3. The Blue Bears have dropped their last four contests with their last win coming on 12/9 against Benedict. Livingstone is 1-4 on the road this season.
Kyala Searcy leads the Blue Bears with 14.9 points per game. Asia Green hauls in 6.1 boards per contest.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan halted their seven game skid on Saturday against Winston-Salem State with an 82-65 win to pick up their first win in league play. The Hawks moved to 5-7 on the season and 1-3 in CIAA play.
The Hawks have four players in double-figures in scoring. Tim Hewett leads the attack with 17.3 ppg with Robert Grubbs (13.0), Demetrius Sanders (12.0), and Gus Rowland (11.1).
In the month of December, Tim Hewett averaged 19.6 points per game. Robert Grubbs (16.0) and Dino Muminovic(11.2) have posted a strong month as well. Muminovic added 9.8 rebounds per contest to the mix.
Dino Muminovic has thrown a block party since his arrival on campus. The senior transfer has produced 37 blocks so far this season. Muminovic sits eighth in the nation in total blocks.
BLUE BEARS BIO
Livingstone has struggled this season with a 3-6 overall record and 1-2 in CIAA play. The Blue Bears are 1-5 this season away from New Trent Gym. Livingstone fell to Virginia State on Saturday, 72-65.
Roger Ray is the leader of the Blue Bears this season posting 18.1 points, 4.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Cameron Burhannon and Ramel Belfield chip in with 13.3 points per game each.
