MURFREESBORO, N.C.- The Chowan Men's and Women's Soccer teams will be in action on Saturday as the Hawks will take on Erskine in their first Conference Carolinas road trip of the season. The women kick-off at 2pm with the men following.

HAWKS PROFILE
Chowan remains unbeaten on the early season with a 2-0-1 record. The Hawks picked up their first ever Conference Carolinas win with a 5-0 victory against Emmanuel last weekend. Carolina Lucci netted two goals in the win on her way to being named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week.
Netminder, Olivia Borer, along with the back-line defense for the Hawks have not allowed a goal this season in over 400 minutes of action.
ERSKINE EXCERPT
The Flying Fleet come into the contest with a 1-3-0 overall record and are 1-1-0 in league play. Erskine is coming off their first win of the season defeating Emmanuel 2-1 on the road on Wednesday.
Hayden Banks leads the Fleet with two goals on the season. Erskine was preseason ninth in the league, one spot ahead of Chowan.
SERIES HISTORY
Chowan and Erskine are meeting for the first time in program history and first time making the trip to Due West, S.C.

Chowan enters the contest with a 2-1-1 overall record and 0-0-1 league record. The Hawks are coming off a 2-0 non-conference win against Shippensburg during the week.
Elliot Chadderton and the back-line have posted clean sheets in the past three contests.

Erskine comes into the contest with a 2-3-0 overall record and 1-1-0 in league play. The Flying Fleet are coming off a 2-0 loss to Emmanuel in a midweek league contest.
Tim Boeckstaens leads the Fleet with two goals. Erskine was preseason picked third in the Conference Carolinas poll in front of the fourth place Hawks.
