BLUFFTON, SC-The Chowan University women's golf team finished in 13
th place at the Pfeiffer Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks concluded the tournament with a 668, posted a team score of 327 after round one of play, then wrapped up day two with a score of 341.
West Georgia took home first place with a two-day score of 295.
Inecia Rolle paced the Hawks with a second round score of 80 after posting a 74 in the first round of competition. Gaby Rivers-Garcia earned a two-day total of 162 tying for 47
th place.
L'leah Laing shaved seven strokes off of Monday's score (92) to finish with a total of 178 placing her in 76
th place.
Reina Pozo also competed for Chowan. She shot a 93 on Monday and followed-up with a score of 184 on Tuesday.
The Hawks return to action on March 12
th through March 14
th when Chowan travels to compete in the UMO/Barton Invitational. Â
