SPARTANBURG, SC-The Chowan University women's golf team completed the second and final round of play at the Converse Spring Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks finished in 18
th place out of the 19 teams that competed in the tournament.
The Hawks carried over a team score of 360 in the first round on Monday, and finished on Tuesday with a team score of 365 for a two-day total of 725 to place them in 18
th place.
The Converse College A team took first place with a team total of 627 in the tournament.
Chowan's
Virginia Lane and
Inecia Rolle earned a two-day total of 165 tying for 35
th place.
Gaby Rivera-Garcia shaved five strokes off of Monday's score (99) to finish with a two-day total of 191 placing her in 85
th place.
L'leah Laing turned in a 101 on Tuesday shaving off three strokes of her first round score.
Reina Pozo finished the tournament with a 109 score for the Hawks.
The Hawks will return to action when they travel to Bluffton, South Carolina on March 5
th -7
th to compete in the Pfeiffer/Bluffton Invitational.
