SPARTANBURG, SC-The Chowan University women's golf team completed the second and final round of play at the Converse Spring Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks finished in 18^th place out of the 19 teams that competed in the tournament.

The Hawks carried over a team score of 360 in the first round on Monday, and finished on Tuesday with a team score of 365 for a two-day total of 725 to place them in 18^th place.

The Converse College A team took first place with a team total of 627 in the tournament.

Chowan's Virginia Lane and Inecia Rolle earned a two-day total of 165 tying for 35^th place. Gaby Rivera-Garcia shaved five strokes off of Monday's score (99) to finish with a two-day total of 191 placing her in 85^th place. L'leah Laing turned in a 101 on Tuesday shaving off three strokes of her first round score. Reina Pozo finished the tournament with a 109 score for the Hawks.

The Hawks will return to action when they travel to Bluffton, South Carolina on March 5^th -7^th to compete in the Pfeiffer/Bluffton Invitational.
