TRENDING DIRECTIONS
Chowan came up 10 yards and a turnover short of upsetting nationally ranked Virginia State at home last week.  The Hawks fell to VSU 26-23 on Hall of Fame Weekend.  CU is 3-6 on the season and 3-3 in CIAA play this season.

Lincoln (Pa.) is searching for their first win of the 2017 season and first win since September 10, 2016.  The Lions are 0-9 on the season and winless in the CIAA at 0-6.

Chowan is averaging 47.0 points per contest against Lincoln (Pa.) in the series posting 49+ points in the last four meetings.  The Hawks recorded 73 points in the victory last season marking the second most points in program history and the largest margin of victory as Chowan shutout Lincoln (Pa.).

WORK HORSES
Tyrell Freeman and Michael Offutt Jr. have posted five 100-yd rushing games this season with Freeman notching his third against Elizabeth City.  Freeman rattled off 139 yards on 16 carries against Elizabeth City.  The sophomore broke off a 74-yd touchdown run on the second play from scrimmage.  The run was the second longest rush in program history.

Tyrell Freeman leads the team with 682 yards rushing and averages 85.3 yards per game.  Michael Offutt Jr. has produced 451 yards and 56.4 yards per game.


LINCOLN (Pa.) NOTES
Lincoln (Pa.) is struggling to stop offenses this season as the Lions have allowed 60.2 points per game this season with 45 points allowed as their lowest point total this season.
