HAWKS PROFILE
Chowan is coming off their first loss of the season as the Hawks fell to #19 Limestone, 4-1, over the weekend. The Hawks are 4-1-2 on the season. Chowan defeated Lincoln (Pa.) 8-0 earlier in the season.
The Hawks are led by freshman striker, Carolina Lucci, who netted her first hat-trick of her career in the win last week. Lucci leads the squad with nine goals. Olivia Borer, junior netminder, has allowed has recorded five shutouts this season.
ABOUT THE LIONS
Lincoln comes into the second meeting of the season with a 3-6-0 record and off a 9-1 loss to Goldey Beacom. The Lions are 0-5-0 against Division II opponents this season.
Diana Martinez leads the Lions with six goals and one assist. The Lions average 2.96 goals allowed this season.
Men's Soccer
HAWKS PROFILE
Chowan is seventh in this week's United Soccer Coaches Associations Coaches Poll picking up a draw against nationally ranked Limestone over the weekend. The Hawks are 4-2-2 this season and 4-0-1 at home this season.
The Hawks offense is sharing the love this season as Terell Williamson, Denis Roule and Lee Wattam have found of the back of the net three times each this season.
Elliot Chadderton and company have posted four shutouts this season and allowing 1.17 goals per contest.
ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN LIONS
Concord enters the contest with a 2-7-1 record but on a two match win streak. The Mountain Lions are averaging 1.60 goals per game.
