WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Chowan University basketball programs are set to tip it up with Winston-Salem State University in a CIAA cross divisional match up on Monday afternoon. The Hawks and the Rams are playing on Monday in a make up game from inclement weather earlier this month. 

The CU women's basketball team is coming off a 30 point win over Elizabeth City State University on Saturday afternoon. Dhyamond Crenshaw posted 13 points in the win and 10 different Chowan players recorded buckets in the win. Chowan improved to 11-4 overall and 4-1 in the league play after the game. WSSU comes into today's game at 6-9 on the year and 2-3 in CIAA play. 

The Chowan men improved to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the CIAA after holding onto beat ECSU on Saturday 79-77. The Hawks were paced by Marco Haskins who dropped 21 points. WSSU enters the contest at 4-9 overall and 1-4 in CIAA play.
