Box Score MILLERSVILLE, PA- The Chowan University women's basketball team suffered a 75-59 setback to Edinboro University on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks start their season with an 0-1 mark while the Fighting Scots, ranked sixth in the WBCA and USA Today polls and number one in the NCAA Atlantic Region, embark on the 2014-15 season with a 1-0 record.

Alisha Mobley scored a team-high 18 points in the setback while Naima Harrington chipped in 17 points for the Blue and White. Jordan Payne tallied 10 rebounds (six offensive, four defensive) followed by Mobley with nine blocks (four offensive, five defensive).

Hope Mancini led all players in the contest with 26 points for Edinboro. Laurel Lindsay had 19 points in the win while Lauren Hippo added 18 points.
Chowan looks to recover on Sunday when they take on Millersville University. Tip-off is slated for 3:00pm in Pucillo Gymnasium.
