Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV- The Chowan University women's soccer team dropped a tight 2-1 overtime game against Shepherd on Monday afternoon.  The Hawks fall to 0-7 on the season while the Rams improve to 5-1-1 with the victory. 
 
Erica Jefferson gave the Hawks an early lead with an unassisted goal in the 18^th minute of the contest.  Chowan maintained the lead heading into halftime.  The Rams struck just one minute into the second half when she found the back of the net of Kasey Canterbury's assist. 
 
Both teams battled for a score throughout regulation but were unable to score.  With the game heading into overtime, the Rams scored the game winning goal as Courtney Baltizar scored off assists from Canterbury and Annie Orr. 
 
The Hawks travel to Danville, VA on September 29^th to take on Averett University.  Game time is slated for 1:00pm.
