Box Score MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University women's soccer team fell to 0-5 on the year after suffering a 6-0 shut out loss to Lincoln University (PA). Lincoln put up six unanswered goals to move to 2-1-1 on the season. Lincoln's Christian Harris netted a hat trick for the Lady Lions in the win. 

Lincoln struck early in the match when Tara O'Brien stuck one in the back of the net just five minutes into the match. Six minutes later Harris made the score 2-0 on a breakaway goal. O'Brien added the third goal of the first half after a making good on a free kick from 18 yards out. 

The Lady Lions went on to score three unanswered goals in the second period to roll to the 6-0 win. Harris netted her second and third goals in the second period. 

Chowan mustered nine shots in the match, six of which were on goal. Samantha Persinger got off three shots on goal as did teammate Erica Jefferson. 

The Hawks will travel to Shepherd University on Monday in their next match up.
