Box Score MURFREESBORO, NC- The Chowan University men's soccer team fell to 0-7 on the season on Wednesday afternoon.  Catawba College proved to be too much for the Hawks as the Indians scored 12 goals in the shutout victory.  Kenny Bonilla scored two goals for Catawba within the first seven minutes of the contest.  Catawba continued to power through the second half as five different Indians accounted for five additional scores before the end of the first half. 
 
With a comfortable 7-0 lead heading into the second half, Ian Orr scored his second goal of the contest off a cross from Jordan Hunsaker to put the Indians ahead 8-0.  Catawba added four scores in the second half, two of which came from Matt Wilkinson.  The Indians improve to 4-2-1 after the 12-0 win. 
 
The Hawks mustered three shots on goal in the loss, two of which came from Dale Pearson.  Jax Eddleman collected seven saves in goal for Chowan. 
 
The Hawks will look to recover from the loss on Friday when they host Columbia International University in a 2:00pm matchup.
