CHARLOTTE, NC - Chowan fans can follow the women's basketball action live this afternoon as they will play #2S Johnson C. Smith University at 3:00pm. These two teams met once this season with CU dropping the match up 78-44. The Hawks struggled with turnovers in that game on January 4th. They coughed the ball up 27 times in the game and the Lady Golden Bulls scored 38 of their total points off CU miscues. 

CU's Talaya Lynch scored a team-high 16 points and had five boards in the loss. Chowan will look to avenge that loss today as they tip off with JCSU in the first of two semi-final games at the CIAA tournament in Charlotte. #1S Shaw University will be playing #2N Bowie State University at 1:00pm in the other semi-final game.
