MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University men's and women's basketball teams will host their final CIAA cross divisional match up of the year as the Blue Bears from Livingstone College will make a trip to the Helms Center for a CIAA Cross Divisional doubleheader on Thursday night. The Chowan women's team, sitting at 5-8 overall, enter Saturday's match up having won their last two out of four outings. They are coming off a 79-75 victory over St. Augustine's College on Monday night, handing the Lady Falcons their first CIAA loss of the year. The Blue Bears enter the game at 8-3 overall and 3-1 in CIAA play. They come off a 64-60 win against Bowie State. Cassaundra Rhodes recorded her third double-double of the season in the match up.

th in CIAA South with a 2-2 record. The Blue Bears are coming off a 75-79 loss against Bowie State University. Eric Vann of Bowie State hit the game winning 3-pointer with under 6 seconds left in the game. The Blue Bears were led by Nasir Austin who posted 18 points in the loss.
