Box Score MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University Men's Soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Newberry College on Monday afternoon, moving them to 0-3 on the season. The Hawks held the Wolves scoreless in the first half, backed by solid defense by keeper Scott Cullen. Cullen wrapped up eleven saves on the day. However, Chowan was out shot 34-12 in the match, which proved to be too much for the Hawks to overcome. 

Wilfred Amoako had the only shots on goal for the Hawks.

Chowan will head to Methodist University on Wednesday, September 15th for a 4:00pm match up with the Monarchs.
