BLUEFIELD, WV - After nearly a two week break from the court the Chowan University women's basketball team will open the second half of the season with a 5:30pm tip off at Bluefield State College this evening. The Hawks (2-5) have not played since their ten point road loss at Felician College on December 17th. Chowan and Bluefield State met earlier this year at the Helms Center with the Hawks coming away with a 64-39 win on November 23rd. Talaya Lynch put up 19 points to help propel her team to the win. After tonight's match up with BSC, the Hawks return to the Helms Center on January 6th to host their first CIAA event of the season with a cross over game against Johnson C. Smith University. Tip off for that game is set for 5:30pm.
