WILSON, NC - The Chowan University men's soccer team fell to 3-12 on the year after falling to Barton College 4-1 on Thursday night. The Bulldogs scored three first half goals and added another one in the second period to take the win. Chowan got a goal from Biez Neto in the 51nd minute of the match to but it wasn't enough to erase the deficit the Hawks found themselves in after three unanswered first half goals. 

The Hawks were out shot 11-1 in the match. Neto's goal in the second half was the Hawks' only shot of the match. Chowan's Scott Cullen had three stops in goal. Brandon Chambers came in to play the second period of the match where he had two saves. 

The Hawks will host Palm Beach Atlantic in their next match on Saturday. Match time is set for 11:00am.
