BELMONT, NC - The women's soccer team fell to 5-11 after a shut out loss at Belmont-Abbey this afternoon. The Hawks fell with a final match score of 6-0 and were out shot 30-0 in the match. Four of Belmont-Abbey's goals came in the final 21 minutes of the match.

BAC got off 15 shots each period in the match to total 30 shots while holding the Hawks from getting off a single shot in the match. Kristy Brown allowed six scores for the Hawks in goal while also getting 11 stops. 

Chowan will wrap up the 2009 regular season with a road trip to Newberry College on Saturday.
