FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA - The #4 seeded women's basketball team routed #5 seeded Tennessee Temple 74-59 at the NCCAA South Region tournament tonight. The Hawks saw four players score in double figures in the win. 

Chowan trailed 24-12 eight minutes into the game but battled back to take a halftime lead and never lost it again. AJ O'Bannion scored a career high 21 points while also grabbing 4 boards. Lauryn Perry scored 19 points while Rachel Wood and Joi Hazel scored 11 and 10 points respectively. Tameka Christopher had 5 rebounds and 4 blocks in the Hawks' 13th win of the year. 

Tonight's win evened their record at 13-13 overall. Chowan will face off against the #1 seed, Southern Wesleyan College at 5:00pm tomorrow.
