CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - The women's basketball team fell to 6-7 after losing to Campbellsville University 81-59 this evening. CU shot 54% from the floor while holding the visiting Hawks to 42% on the night. 

Chowan's Lauryn Perry hit 5-5 from beyond the three point arch to lead all Hawks scorers with 17 points while Alicia McMorris joined Perry in double figures with 10 points. 

Chowan has started the 2007 season with two losses but will try to pick up their first win tomorrow night at nearby Lindsey Wilson College. Game time is set for 4:00pm. The Hawks return to the Helms Center on Jan. 18th when they host North Carolina Wesleyan at 7:00pm.
