RALEIGH, NC - All eleven Hawks players scored as they rolled to a 66-50 win over Salem College in the Championship game of the Jackie Ammons Memorial Tournament hosted by Peace College. Senior Joi Hazel was named the tournament MVP after scoring a game-high 16 points on a 7 for 12 shooting performance. Keyon Sellers was also named to the All Tournament Team after scoring 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals tonight. 

The Hawks  dominated the paint, scoring 45 points down low. They also got 25 points off the bench in a game where all eleven players scored. AJ O'Bannion netted 8 points and grabbed 5 boards while Alicia McMorris also contributed 8 points. Rachel Wood came off the bench to score 7 points, grab 6 rebounds, and dish out 5 assists. 

Chowan improves to 2-1 after today's win. They won't have much time to recover as West Virginia Tech comes to town on Monday for a 6:00pm tip off at the Helms Center. Listen to the game live by logging on the "HawkCast" link on the athletics mainpage to catch all the action courtside.
