Trailing 23-28, the Brave's offense took over on the their own 47 yard line after a stellar defensive series forced the Builders to punt with 3:11 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. After two failed plays and a timeout, Stodghill hit WR Russell Dudley on a crossing route for a 14 yard gain and a Braves first down with 1:53 remaining on the clock. TB Jawarren Cowles scampered 6 yards on the ground to set up another Stodghill-Dudley connection for 9 yards and another first down. Stodghill then rushed from the pocket to gain 11 yards and another first down with 00:47 seconds remaining. From the Builder 12 yard line Stodghill hit Harvell on the fade with 00:42 seconds in the fourth, which proved to be the game-winning touchdown. Stodghill threw for 153 yards and two TD's on the day. TB Jawarren Cowles had 141 yards on 21 carries and two TD's. FB Charles Scott ran for 42 yards on 10 carries. TE Bill Eckle had 68 yards on 3 catches while teammates Russell Dudley and Charles Scott tallied over 30 yards each. Jimmy Sterling had 2 catches for 16 yards. On the other side of the ball, CB Anthony McGruder had 11 tackles. LB's Gerard Reynolds and Terrance Saxby had a stellar performances with 11 tackles each, Saxby with 2 tackles for a loss. Freshman John Willis had 8 tackles on the day.
