DOVER, DE - The Braves fell to 2-7 on the year after losing to Wesley College with a final score of 57-12. The offensive scoring attack of the Braves was shut down as they accumulated just 279 yards of total offense and were held to one touchdown and a field goal. The Braves defense managed to pick up a safety for another score late in the third quarter to give the Braves a total of 12 points scored. Fullback Charles Scott led the ground attack for the Braves with 68 yards on 17 carries and a one-yard touchdown score. Chris Stodghill completed 13 passes for 140 yards while throwing three interceptions and no touchdowns. Russell Dudley caught 9 passes for 109 yards while teammate Brian Harvell caught 6 passes for 44 yards. On the other side of the ball, freshman safety John Willis had 11 tackles as well as senior LB Terrance Saxby. The Braves wrap-up their season this coming weekend as they play host to Averett University in a conference match-up.
