Josette Beasley scored 21 points to lead the Braves in the opening round of the Greensboro College Tournament. Patrese Jarrell added 12 points while Lachelle Waller contributed nine points and six rebounds. Megan Brenegan pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds to go with her eight points for the Braves who fall to 2-1.

Lachelle Waller scored six points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead the way for the Braves. Nicole Mehalick was Chowan's high-scorer with 11 points including 3-of-4 from three-point land. Alisha Harvey added six points, five rebounds and three assists.
