DANVILLE, Va. - Kerry Niles scored the game's only goal as Chowan College defeated Averett College, 1-0, here Monday during a women's collegiate soccer match.

Niles' game-winner, off an assist from Katerina Sideris, came with 16:55 remaining in the match.

The Lady Braves, who evened their record at 3-3, will travel to Norfolk, Va. today (Thursday) to meet Virginia Wesleyan in a 4pm match.
