Jocelyn Thoresen, formerly Richardson enters her third year at Chowan as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Richardson will provide coverage for women's soccer, women's basketball and women's lacrosse.
Richardson comes to Chowan after earning her master's degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Athletic Training. While at Texas Tech, Richardson gained experience with local high school sport coverage, Lubbock Sports Medicine Clinic, and the Texas Tech women’s soccer team.
The Lubbock, Texas native graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science. While at LCU, Richardson was a four-year member of the women's soccer program. She also operated as a student athletic trainer for LCU sports medicine.
Jocelyn is an NATABOC certified athletic trainer and is licensed in the state of North Carolina. She is also a member of National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
