Sydney Lester enters her third year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Chowan. Lester provides coverage for football, men's basketball, and men's lacrosse.
As a graduate student at Minnesota State-Mankato, Lester gained experience as an Athletic Training Student working with football, men’s and women’s ice hockey, softball, and track and field. Lester received her M.S.A.T. in Athletic Training in 2018.
The Gulfport, Miss. native obtained her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. While at USM, Lester helped with the Eagles' women's soccer, track and field, cross country, and women's basketball programs.
Lester is an NATABOC certified athletic trainer and is licensed in the state of North Carolina.
She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.
