Cue was instrumental in the development of All-CIAA selections: running back Tyree Lee and tight end Drew Buck.  During his two seasons with the Hawks, Lee became the first Hawk to produce back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing totals.  Lee is the DII program record holder for rushing yards (2,114) and rushing touchdowns (24).

Prior to joining the staff at Chowan, Cue served as a volunteer assistant with Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri where worked specifically with the defensive line.

Cue spent four seasons in minor league baseball as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator in the farm system of the St. Louis Cardinals with the Double A Springfield Cardinals.  In that capacity, Cue assisted with the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for the organization while monitoring athlete data and progress on a bi-monthly basis.

During his tenure with the Springfield Cardinals, Cue aided in the development of players throughout the farm system.  The St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series in 2011, won the National League Championship in 2013 before falling in the World Series, and won the National League Central Division in 2014.  The Springfield Cardinals won the Texas League Championship in 2012.

Prior to his stint in minor league baseball, Cue served as an intern at Division I Florida Atlantic University.  He worked with the Owls’ football, women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s basketball and women’s track programs.

In 2009, Cue worked with the Class A Tri-City Dust Devils in the Colorado Rockies farm system.  The Dust Devils won the Eastern Division Title before falling in the Western League Championship.

Cue started his collegiate coaching and strength and conditioning career at his alma mater, University of Northern Iowa.  Cue worked primarily with the football, men’s basketball and track and field teams, while assisting with the men’s and women’s golf teams, women’s tennis, and women’s swim teams.  The football team won the Gateway Conference Championship in 2007 and 2008.

He competed as a football student-athlete at Waldorf College for two seasons before finishing his career at the University of Northern Iowa.

Cue graduated from UNI in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and received his Masters degree in Exercise Science from UNI in 2009.
