What is the Brave Hawks Club?
The Brave Hawks Club is the fundraising organization for Chowan University Department of Athletics. Donors from Brave and Hawks eras unite in order to achieve elevated levels of success within our Athletic Department and our teams. The financial support from our donors generates growth and development for our student-athletes and athletic program.
Chowan University boasts 19 athletic teams as well as a co-ed cheerleading squad. Beginning this season, 17 of our 19 NCAA sponsored sports will compete within the Conference Carolinas, while our football and women's bowling programs will continue to call the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) home. New challenges await with our new home in the Conference Carolina. The Hawks are soaring high!
How is the money used?
Contributions from the Brave Hawks Club assist in enhancing the quality of experience for our 500 student-athletes. You can make contributions to the Brave Hawks Club to support the overall athletic program or you can make your donation sport-specific.
Your donation leads to:
· Increased athletic aid
· Upgraded athletic facilities
· Better equipment and supplies
· Enhanced transportation for team travel
· Special events
Financial contributions allow our student-athletes to achieve levels of excellence on and off the field of play.
Who can join the Brave Hawks Club?
The Brave Hawks Club is open to alumni, friends, family and businesses who recognize the importance of intercollegiate athletics at Chowan University.
How much does it cost to join the Brave Hawks Club?
There are eight different membership levels available, ranging from $50 to $1,000 or more. The benefits vary from level to level. All members receive benefits of some kind and are connected with CU Athletics.
