        Garrison Stadium has been home to the Hawks Football team for over fifty-plus years. In the Sixties the athletic department and college administrators teamed up to launch a campaign that would create a stadium where the football team could practice and play. With seating on both sides, the stadium houses up to 2,500 fans and boasts a nicely furnished press box that includes box seating. In 2007, with the support of some special donors, the playing surface underwent extensive improvements with the addition of field lights, new perimeter fencing, and upgrades to the Bermuda grass field.Â
