YOUNG HARRIS GA. – The Chowan University men's soccer team dropped a conference matchup against regionally ranked #6 Young Harris on Saturday afternoon. With the setback, the Hawks move to 2-3-1 overall and 0-2-1 in league play, while the Mountain Lions improve to 4-0-1 on the season and 3-0-0 in conference action.

Offensively, Twan Kuiper got the Hawks on the scoreboard with a goal in the 46th minute. Robbie Deighan added a penalty kick shortly after and scored again just six minutes later in the 63rd minute. Matty Doyle also contributed, recording a shot on target of his own. In goal, Lucas Kibrya anchored the defense throughout the match, finishing with six saves.
