MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Following week five of competition, Conference Carolinas announced its Women's Soccer Players of the Week on Tuesday morning. Chowan's Kylee Smith earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for her standout performance in goal. The Offensive Player of the Week accolade was awarded to Francis Marion University.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Kylee Smith | Chowan | Goalkeeper | Sophomore | Virginia Beach, Virginia
Smith posted a shutout against UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon. In the contest, she posted six saves, helping the Hawks to a 0-0 draw.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tehya Dave' | Francis Marion | Forward | Senior | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
In two matches last week, Dave' posted a pair of goals, leading Francis Marion to a pair of wins. She posted one goal on three shots in a 2-1 win over Barton before scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Young Harris.
